Join us on our Doubtful & Dusky Sound Photography Expedition as we explore the remote fiords of Doubtful, Breaksea and Dusky Sound on board the MV Tutoko vessel.

Martin has extensive experience in capturing the beauty and moods of the fiords and together with our skipper we can show you the best photo locations, according to weather and light conditions. Although photography is the main focus of this expedition, there will be time to visit historic sites, walk, relax, learn new photography tricks, share and discuss our experiences, so whether you are a professional photographer, hobby enthusiast - or somewhere in between - this is the trip for you.

Our boat has a comfortable lounge, all delicious meals are provided on board, and we will sleep in a comfortable bunk room to the sound of gently lapping waves. MV Tutoko fits up to 7 passengers. This is not a high-end luxury cruise, but is a charming and comfortable way to authentically experience the best of Fiordland, whilst offering the best value for money.

The fiords of Fiordland National Park are a magical paradise and it is a constant joy and challenge to capture their ever-changing moods and uniquely stunning wildlife. We will ensure that you are able to make the most of your time here. Take advantage of winter’s better chances for crisp clear days with amazing visibility and snow cover on the mountain tops all adding another dimension.

This photo expedition is on demand and can be arranged on any other small vessel. You might like to enjoy privacy, luxury, to be pampered ...ask, we know how to tailor the cruise to your expectations.

• Transport to Manapouri - e.g. pick up from the airport or your hotel in Queenstown or Te Anau (we can arrange this for you)

• Accommodation for any extra nights spent in Te Anau or Queenstown (we can also arrange this for you

• Extra days in Fiordland - we can arrange a photography program/workshop for you, or any other kind of trip extension.

• Your personal travel insurance
